Real estate agents still ‘very integral’

Zillow CEO Spencer Rascoff gives three reasons why online housing data provided by his firm and others are not a substitute for agents.
Even in this age of the Internet, real estate agents are still a “very integral” part of buying and selling homes, Zillow CEO Spencer Rascoff told CNBC’s “Squawk Box” on Wednesday.
It may seem like a counterintuitive statement from a pioneer in the online proliferation of housing data. But Rascoff said the efforts of his company and others will force agents to evolve.
