Our beloved office dog, Marcellus Archibald, is going through a rough patch right now. He was recently diagnosed with a spinal fluid leak from some herniated discs in his neck. He is on prescribed rest for the next 4 – 5 weeks. The poor guy is normally so energetic and playful, it has been tough for him to adjust. He is taking pain, calming and anti-inflammatory medications right now. You may not notice him around the office as much for now, but we have faith he will pull through!
If you do visit and see him, please note the following: He cannot jump or down; he must be lifted carefully; playing/running is not allowed currently and he MUST remain calm and quiet so the leak will seal off.
Here he is on his bed rest – while comfy, he is not amused.
Enforced bed rest may be comfy, but it definitely isn’t as fun as fetch.
